City of shapes Fall 2017

For this project the program sketch-up was used to create geometric  shapes. this was also the 1st real project we had on sketch-up. We were giving a list of different shapes where we practiced them and then formed them into a city with different aspects of a city. some of the buildings have very small details on them that use these geometric shapes in  different ways

As you can see in this picture it was the introduction to this and it looks quite poor. I was utilizing the AutoCad tool to create numbers, letters, and images such cubes using the line tool and the snap to grid.

AutoCad Fall 2017

Galaga Fall 2017

During the creation of this galaga game setup on AutoCad i used the line command to manually create all of the ships from galaga. I then used the hatch command to color them their corresponding colors. For some of the enemy ships i used the rotate tool to make them look as if they were entering the screen from a new angle

Mini golf Fall 2017

During the creation of this mini golf course in the Autocad program many tools such as the hatch tool, trim tool, line tool, and many shape based tools. After each hole was finished the were aligned in the formation of a course. the hatch tool as well as the shape tool were used to make both the course and the details in it.

Mini golf sketch up Fall 2017

After the fishing of the golf course on AutoCad I started to mimic it on sketchup and produced a scaled up version with the assistance of tools such as the shape tool and the cropping tools. A few changes were made to the golf course  so it looked more appealing.

Checkers fall 2017

This checkers board and chips where created with the use of the line tool, snap to grid and the array tool. The board itself was created with the snap to grid to form squares witch make the checker board

Skyscraper Fall 2017 (world trade center)

This was a replica of the world trade center in Network. Many tools such as the line tool, paint tool, push/pull tool, and the copy and paste functions were used. The most challenging part was To get the overall shape of the tower and fill it with windows, I needed to make each wall separately in order to fill them with the widows needed. They also needed to be aligned and at a slight angle for it to shrink in size as it rose up

Basic doors 2017

These were  basic doors we made in the auto cad tool in order to understand how they should be structured on our sketchup project. They were made by connecting different lines after the border was offset inwards. these lines formed the basic looks of a common door.

Beach house project 2017

This was a west coast beach house that I have been working on for about 2 weeks now. I chose the west coast because i'm from California and it only seemed right to to it. the house was started by farming basic polygons. after the shapes were created then much more detail was added. The

AutoCad Layout & invisible lines 2017

Each layout consists of 1 isometric drawing (30 degrees angle), one 1 pt perspective , 1 oblique cabinet (45 degrees & full depth) , and 1 oblique cavalier (45 degrees and 1/2 depth). Each figure was made using snap to grid and the hatch tool to color them. After they were finished I created a layout tab for each of the shapes specifying the forms of the shapes. The invisible line shapes do not have the other forms , but have the lines that would normally been unseen are visible.

Tetris 2017

This was a tetris game board that I made using AutoCad. each square was filled in using the hatch tool to emulate shadows on each one. After i made each of the colored squares I thin copied them into place forming the shapes found in the game. Finally I added the boarder of the game.

SOV problems

R2D2 assembly

This R2D2 project was done over the span of a week and made using AutoCad as well as its layout functions to create the pdfs. For each parts we were given the proper dimensions, but some had to be found manually which posed a challenge. other that that each structure was made using the line tool and filled by using the hatch tool.
